The Best Way to Fix the Economy: Not Easy, Just Right and Best (Part 5 of a 6 Part Series)
Part Five
Lazar Economic Recovery and Resurgence of Capitalism Plan
1. Immediately fire up The USA Innovation Nation plan in 17 New Product areas as described by The Build Products That Create Jobs Institute.
Step 1 of The Central Productive Process™
2.Incent companies to keep jobs here. One way is to invest in company’s physical lab/plant upgrades if they commit to job retention and / or new jobs.
Step 3 of The Central Productive Process™
3. Incent companies to bring jobs back to the USA. Increasing the R+D and other Tax credits will help. By increasing the R+D Tax Credit from 14% to 20% we could launch a modest 5-year plan that would produce 500,000 jobs. It is rather basic to accelerate this pace once started. So let’s start now.
Step 3 of The Central Productive Process™
4. Tax cuts targeted to job creation and assuring livable income. Include lower capital gains targeted to start-ups.
Steps 3 + 14 of The Central Productive Process™
5. Curtail or stop investment in companies outside USA.
Step 14 of The Central Productive Process™
6. Set auto import quotas e.g. for 5 years 50% less than 2009 to give our industry time to re-surge. Yes some protectionism is necessary for the survival of a self-reliant USA.
Step 2 of The Central Productive Process™
Leadership Actions That Will Make It All Work
1. Currently viable Product Industries should get large tax incentives to develop innovative small product businesses in their areas of interest into large product industries.
2. Cap excessive compensation through Boards of Directors.
3. Offer incentives to companies and bonuses to their officers who bring jobs back to the USA from overseas.
4. Get funds back from thieves and hedge fund pirates.
5. Get voluntary cash donations from the ultra rich. Name things after them.
6. Issue Resurgence Bonds similar to War Bonds during WWII for purchase by Americans and others.
7. President Obama to lead international leaders to secure agreement on who will play primary and secondary roles in specific product building for international trade.
8. President Obama to establish a forum for real mutual trade in the Americas as a high priority, Our Leadership Institute of the Americas™ plan is one way.
9. Leaders in Congress must learn that the Central Productive Process™ is the only way to go. It is the model that predicts the success steps all along the path to economic resurgence. We need legislation that fosters help for small businesses to grow and survive by getting reliable financing backed by the government.
10. President Obama to get stakeholders and leaders together over and again to demonstrate how, “We all must work to get it all to work” a total Team Excellence USA™ vision with meat on the bones.
Of course it won’t happen unless some strong leaders emerge to lead the charge without stop. I have been working at this for well over 35 years. Others, stronger and smarter than me, need to take the baton and run like hell. I pray for this every day. This is not political, not ideological and not hurtful to any groups or individual. Please move forward. It’s never too late.
